The UK Youth Parliament Safe Space event at the Ipswich Town Football club provided young people with a 'safe space' where they could talk about terrorism and violent extremism and talk about how they could work with people in the community and youth leaders.
Project Safe Space Eastern Region organised the event which was based on the statistic that young people could not find a place to talk about terrorism and fundamentalism 97% at one meeting believe this..
"The project aims to give young people the chance to talk about and challenge the stereotypes and prejudices created by terrorism and violent extremism." St Helen's Reporter.
My Presnetation was about young leaders which went really welland was favourite (or second favourite) among many!
Safespace is a great idea and one of the best things i've done..:)

County Hall meeting..
Well on Monday the 23rd March I had the chance to go to County Hall with The Crome county Councillor, George Nobbs who was one of the best Councillor the Norfolk County Council though has a predominant party the Conservatives- a majority of 44!
Though the may not seem a problem it is they Are the only party not allowing young people not to have free transport in Norfolk with all the other 3 Council Parties all agreeing for a young person's transport scheme in Norwich and Norfolk and this is subsidised in their party budgets.
Recycling also a hot topic seems to be slacking too and schools still has to pay for recycling meaning the world can't be saved - Little OTT i guess?
It went very well all the same and Spoke to many of the councillors and heard their opinion on many things especially the environment which is important at this time.
Lunch was very good too :)
